SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - Mary Kay McMillin Early Childhood Center held their annual Adult Social Fundraiser at the Stage House Tavern in Scotch Plains last month. The Hoedown themed event featured raffle baskets, live music, delicious food, and a lively crowd raising close to $9,500 for the school.

"The parents and staff of MKM donated generously, and we can't thank them enough for their participation," said the Julie Nelson, Mary Kay McMillin PTO President. "We would also like to recognize all the residents of Berkeley Heights (and surrounding areas) who purchased our raffle tickets, thank you for supporting our school.  This event couldn't have happened without the help of countless benefactors such as local businesses, corporations, individuals and families who donated the wonderful items for the raffle baskets," she added.

The Mary Kay McMillin PTO worked tirelessly for months in planning and making the fundraiser a success.

And Over Here is the Dining Hall 2

My very first job in admissions was while I was still an undergraduate myself as a tour guide.  Very early on they indoctrinated us with some tricks of the trade.  It’s a dining hall, not a cafeteria.  A residence hall, not a dorm.  If you have to divulge some negative bit of information, sandwich it between two positives.  There were instructions for glossing over ...
