BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ—Berkeley Heights Township Mayor Angie Devanney today announced the launch of her new Instagram account.  Residents can follow Mayor Devanney @mayorangiedevanney on the social media app. 

“My administration prides itself on effective communication, which means being on the platforms where our residents are,” stated Mayor Devanney. “Many residents are turning to or relying upon Instagram to receive information. I thought it was important that I, too, was communicating in this medium.”

Township residents can receive information in a number of ways, including the Township website, by signing up for e-mail alerts and our monthly newsletter ( The Township also has a Facebook page (@BerkeleyHeightsTwpNJ) and more recently added a Twitter account (@BerkeleyHeightsGov). Residents can also receive critical information from the Smart 911 phone services hosted by the Berkeley Heights Police Department. Links to register are below. Paper copies of the Township newsletter are available at the entrance to Town Hall near the red mailbox on Park Avenue. The Town’s electronic bulletin board primarily shares event information and is located on the corner of Springfield and Plainfield avenues.
