BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Michelle Greco was sworn into office by Mayor Bob Woodruff at Tuesday's Berkeley Heights Township Council Meeting. Greco fills the unexpired seat of Councilman Craig Pastore who stepped down due to his recent move outside of Berkeley Heights.

The Republican Municipal Committee provided the council with a list of three possible candidates for Pastore's seat. The council voted 4 in favor of Greco and one abstained. Greco will serve until the end of Pastore's term, Dec. 31, 2018.

Greco along with incumbent Councilman Michael D'Aquila, newcomers Christopher Rinaldi, Diana Mara and Dmitriy Agafonov are on the Republican Primary ballot seeking the party's nomination to run for the two open council seats in the general election in November.
