National President Malcolm J. McPherson Jr. of the Benevolent Protective Order of ELKS To Visit New Jersey November 8-11.

With the upcoming start of our 150th. Anniversary of the Elks organization and over 5 billion dollars nationwide raised or time and resources expended it is befitting that the national president visit the state of New Jersey for it’s annual Fall Conference.

New Jersey under the leadership of Malcolm J. Mc Pherson Jr. has established a first rate Peer Leadership program. This program has had remarkable success in the state and under Mc Pherson it has become the best program of its’ kind. Shortly Mr. McPherson will be establishing the foundation for this program to become a nation-wide program for all young high school students to participate in.

In addition to talking to the state members Mr. Mc Pherson will be visiting several of the operations that are supported by or through the state organization or funded totally by the NJ Elks.

Among other notable programs started here in NJ the work done for our veteran’s, homeless veteran’s, special children funding and education, youth activity programs scholarships and community projects the ELKS has become the number one vehicle for providing support to local communities and state wide initiatives.

The ELKS National President will visit the following sites while in this area of New Jersey. 

Thursday: November 9 at noon at the NJEDDA in Clifton AT 1481 Main street

Friday: November 10 at 9:30A.M. at the Somerville Lodge #1608, 375 Union Avenue, Bridgewater, NJ

Friday: November 10 at 10:30 A.M. at the Somerset ELKS C.P. Center, 375 Union Avenue, Bridgewater, NJ
