BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ — In its newly released 2019 “Best Schools” list, national educational research and rankings firm Niche has placed Berkeley Heights No. 20, up from No. 25 last year.  It ranked Gov. Livingston High School No. 47 among public schools in the state.

Niche gave Berkeley Heights public schools an overall letter grade of A+. The schools got an A+ for academics, A+ for teachers, A for clubs and activities, an A+ for college prep, and an A+ for sports but a C+ for diversity.

Niche said that its new release analyzes 3,904 private schools, 83,542 public schools and 10,758 school districts weighting factors like academics, culture and diversity, teachers and millions of student and parent reviews.
