BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Berkeley Heights Police Athletic League is hosting a Youth Spring Track Running Program starting Saturday February 28, 2015 under the name WolfPack Track Club. A 6-Week Pre-Season Conditioning Program will be followed by 8-Weeks Competitive Season.
The three and a half month program is designed for boys and girls who are interested in laying a solid training foundation for SPRING Track Competitive events. The track program will offer sprints to distance running as well as relays. The running program will be serving children grades 2nd thru 8th, from developmental to competitive.
The “Berkeley Heights PAL Running Program” establishes a supportive environment for everyone to explore their potential. We invite you to experience fun, fitness and competition today with the Berkeley Heights Police Athletic League. Training emphasis will include – Speed, Strength, Endurance, Running Mechanics, Flexibility, Agility & Drills. This program is also a great cross conditioner for other sports, the discovery of a new sport or just a fun way to be healthy.
The Running Program will also prepare the children to compete in the USATF Junior Olympics State Championships in June of 2015. A Certified USATF Coaching Staff with a background in Track, Cross Country and Road Racing as well as National and State accolades will lead the youth.
