BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ – Pearly Whites The Multi-Specialty Family Dentist will provide children under the age of 12, who are not covered by insurance, a free dental exam, cleaning, and fluoride treatment as part of February’s National Children’s Dental Health Month (CDHM).
The one-day program called Give Kids a Smile (GKAS), will take place at the Pearly Whites office, 515 Springfield Ave., Berkeley Heights, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Feb. 5 by appointment only.
GKAS is part of the American Dental Association’s annual push to bring attention to tooth decay, the number one childhood disease. Pearly Whites supports the program.
Since the program’s national launch in 2003, more than 4 million children have been treated, according to the dental association.
“Giving back to the community that has supported my practice is so important,” said Pearly Whites owner Dr. Brooke Skolnick. “This program, more than a decade old, will touch the lives of so many of New Jersey’s children who need oral healthcare instruction. I am proud to be a part of it.”
Children not covered by insurance and due for preventive care can call the office at (908) 464-6789 to schedule an appointment.
