NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - New Jersey Monthly Magazine’s 37th Annual Restaurant Poll revealed their list of the best restaurants in New Jersey as decided by readers and critics alike.

Fresh off the press, Prestige Diner in New Providence received the best diner for the North region. The voting took place throughout the month of February when restaurants were operating normally. The winners received the most votes for their region divided into South, North and Central regions. 

"We are so appreciative of everyone's support, this year especially," said Jimmy Vardas, co-owner of Prestige. "We cherish our town and are thrilled to bring this award home."

Both Jimmy and his brother Harry are thankful for their loyal friends for sticking with them this year, despite the challenges they've faced.

Prestige Diner recently rolled out a new loyalty program, myPrestige, which offers customers a chance to earn rewards with almost every purchase made through the diner's new web-based app, found on their website, "We want our customers to feel appreciated for each interaction with us, whether in store or ordering online," said Harry Vardas. 

The loyalty program offers customers a chance to earn rewards with almost every purchase made through the diner's new web-based app, found on their website, Members registering on the app earn points that can be redeemed for a free appetizer (just for registering), a free entree and surprise rewards throughout the year. 

The program is free to use and easy to register. Enrollment is done by visiting's website, and upon registration, customers will receive a reward in their smartphone for a free appetizer. 

Along with acquiring reward points, app users can pay for their check at their table, letting them skip the register, and they can also place their to-go orders for pick up or delivery.
