This past March 11, Redeemer Lutheran School together with Anchor of Hope hosted a fashion show, silent auction and tricky tray.  The proceeds from this event were donated to the Roger Borchin Scholarship Fund.  Redeemer Anchor of Hope Team Leader Edna McClure was instrumental in the success of this fundraiser.  A total of $10,000 was gained for the Borchin Scholarship, most of it from the fundraiser with additional money from the Art Dombro memorial fund, the church’s March Mission of the Heart and some matching funds from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

The Borchin Scholarship fund is for families who are under financial stress and would like a Christian education for their children.  Applications are submitted to the Redeemer Lutheran School Board for consideration.  Monies are distributed based on family need and application forms can be found on line at .

Redeemer School is a Middle States Accredited school for grades Kindergarten through grade six and was recently voted “Favorite Preschool in Westfield” in a recent survey.   Redeemer accepts all students regardless of denomination or religious beliefs.  Our staff members are from many different denominations so our teachings are basic Christian values.
