Join our Spring Youth Soccer Association! Our Youth Soccer Association is the perfect place to build your child’s endurance, enhance their soccer skills and teach the importance of sportsmanship. The Youth Soccer Association of the Summit Area YMCA is a co-ed, noncompetitive youth sports program designed to teach kids age 3 – 8 years old the basics of soccer while building confidence, developing team building skills, expending youthful energy in a positive way. Volunteer parent coaches are able to support their kids and the community by teaching the basic skills of the game.

“I couldn't be happier to be a volunteer coach with YSA. The YSA offers a supportive and organized framework for volunteer coaches to share our love of sports and the many lessons associated with sports with our own kids and others in the community.” said Michael Hoefs, volunteer coach for the Summit Area Y. “The number one goal of every game day is to "have fun" along with learning other critical life skills like sportsmanship, teamwork and leadership development.”

Children meet each week for recreation at the local Summit Middle School soccer fields, while games are held on Sundays so that busy parents are able to bond with their children on the weekends.
