BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Berkeley Heights Police Athletic League is excited to announce the 2016 Youth Spring Track Program is OPEN for registration and will CLOSE January 31st. Registration Fees: $165 RESIDENTS (Berkeley Heights/Mountainside) / $195 Non-Residents / Late Registration Fee $40. Spots fill quickly, so be sure to sign-up as soon as possible.
First practice begins Monday February 29th, 2016 at Governor Livingston High School. The TRAINING SCHEDULE is 5:45pm - 7:30pm, Monday - Tuesday – Thursday. The majority of the Track Meets are on Sundays (very few on Saturday) starting late April. The three and a half month program is designed for boys and girls who are interested in improving their fitness or laying a solid training foundation for SPRING Track Competitive events. The track program will offer sprints to distance running as well as relays for children grades 2nd thru 8th, from developmental to competitive.
The “Berkeley Heights PAL Youth Running Development Program” establishes a supportive environment for everyone to explore their potential. We invite you to experience fun, fitness and competition today. Training emphasis will include – Speed, Strength, Endurance, Running Mechanics, Flexibility, Agility & Drills. This program is also a great cross conditioner for other sports, the discovery of a new sport or just a fun way to be healthy.
