UNION, NJ - The Suburban Chamber of Commerce is hosting their annual golf outing on Monday, Oct. 17 at Suburban Golf Club in Union. A portion of the proceeds will be designated to the Chamber’s Scholarship Program, which provides scholarships for Summit, Governor Livingston and New Providence High School seniors.
The Suburban Chamber of Commerce, representing business in Summit, New Providence and Berkeley Heights, invites area residents and businesses to join them and “Do Business On Our Links.” Come out and golf with area business associates, including the outing sponsors: Investors Bank, Oak Knoll School, Overlook Medical Center, and Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper and The Grand Summit Hotel.
The event opens with registration at 11 a.m., practice range and barbecue luncheon. A putting contest precedes the 1 p.m. shotgun start. A two hour open bar cocktail reception follows the event.
Maplecrest Ford Lincoln in Union will again sponsor the “hole in one” prize. Can't make the outing? -- represent your business with a tee-sign sponsorship, beverage cart sponsorship or sponsor a local EMS worker to play.
The 18 hole championship golf course is designed by renowned architect A.W. Tillinghast and offers nearly 6,500 yards of tree lined fairways and "unparalleled scenery." Tillinghast has designed premiere courses across the nation that include Baltusrol Golf Club, Winged Foot and Somerset Hills Golf Club.
This year’s event chairman is Gold Sponsor Investors Bank’s Director of Business Development Joe Stefans. For information on the event, call or email the Chamber at 908-522-1700, or email@example.com
