BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ -- Residents can now follow Berkeley Heights Township’s official Twitter account, @BHnjGov,  to get important Township news.  Launched last week, the creation of this account continues the work that the Berkeley Heights Communications Committee has been doing to expand the township’s digital properties, ensuring all residents, no matter what platform they are on, are able to access important updates in real-time.

“Pew Research Center recently found that 68% of American adults prefer getting their news on social media,” said Pam Yoss, Berkeley Heights Communications Committee Chair. “Therefore, the committee agreed that the next logical step was to get the Township running on Twitter. Between emergency communications around COVID-19 and big storms and breaking news from Town Council meetings and NJ state, Twitter will be a key channel to help us keep residents informed about important Township updates and events.”
