The Parekhs were the owners of the liquor store at Kings in Berkeley Heights since 1992. They purchased the property at 440 Springfield Avenue and opened in February after making the necessary renovations to the space that was formerly Pete's Place Restaurant at Yogoccino.
Owning six stores, three in New Jersey (including the Kings Fine Wines and Spirits in Summit) and three in Maryland, the Parekhs pride themselves on their pricing, customer service and community outreach.
