After the ceremonious ribbon cutting and the Mayor's official welcome to Berkeley Heights, the guests experienced a tasting of Sami's New American Cuisine menu. The evening's menu featured Crab Bisque, Oyster Rockefeller, House Made Pasta, Panko Fried Shrimp, Stuffed Mushrooms and Lamb Chops. Sami's menu also embraces the “farm to table” concept, featuring fresh goods from local vendors.

"As word gets out of our new culinary treasure in downtown Berkeley Heights, I have no doubt, Sami's will become one of New Jersey's top fine dining destinations," said Council President Jeanne Kingsley.

"The menu is something different than you will find with the competition in this area,” said Eldiesyawe.

Reservations for Sami’s Land and Sea are recommended on Friday and Saturday nights and is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.  Sami's will offer Sunday Brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m [reservations required] and weekday Early Bird Special from 3:30 to 5.30 p.m.

Sami’s Land and Sea is BYOB and is located at 449 Springfield Avenue in Berkeley Heights. For reservations and catering inquiries call (908) 464-6644. (Sami's is currently taking reservations for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.)
