The Y recently received a $2,500 grant from the TD Charitable Foundation on behalf of TD Bank to help support the important programs the Summit Area YMCA provides for middle and high school students at the Summit Youth Center, located at 2 Walnut Street, Summit. The grant was given in recognition of the Y’s role in helping to make Summit a vibrant and sustaining community for its young people.
The Summit Area YMCA provides a variety of free enrichment, social and support opportunities for youth from 6th through 12th grade on a daily basis at the Summit Youth Center, making it a safe place for kids to spend their time afterschool. The Center is open Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 7:00 pm and Fridays from 3:00 to 9:00 pm.
