Ronni Denes, the president of NJ Seeds, will talk at the May 8 meeting of the Summit Old Guard at the New Providence Municipal Center. Her presentation will be about creating exceptional educational access for high performing, low income students from our state’s least privileged communities. Examples will be presented. Seeds was founded when a small of innovators united the business and independent school sectors to create an organization through which inner city students would thrive. Seeds is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
All area 50-plus active men are invited to attend meetings of the Summit Area Old Guard on Tuesday mornings at the New Providence Municipal Center at 360 Elkwood Avenue. A coffee hour starts at9:15 that is followed by a 10 AM short business meeting. Old Guard members participate in sports, bridge, hikes, trips, plays, concerts and cultural events.
