SUMMIT, NJ - Open auditions for the upcoming Summit Playhouse musical production of "The Bridges of Madison County" will be held at The Playhouse August 7 - 8, at 7 p.m. each evening. "The Bridges of Madison County" features music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, based on the book by Marsha Norman, with the production slated to run at The Playhouse November 3 - 18.

The path of Francesca Johnson's future seems destined when an unexpected fork in the road causes her to question everything she had come to expect from life. The Bridges of Madison County captures the lyrical expanse of America's heartland along with the yearning entangled in the eternal question, "What if...?"

Those attending the auditions are asked to prepare a song -- in the style of the show -- and bring sheet music in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided. Headshots and resumes are not required, but gladly received.
