The following are comments from Indiana Curtis regarding her past, present and future:

TAPinto: How did you get started in swimming competitively and how long have you been swimming?
Indiana: I've been competitively swimming for eleven years. I started in swimming lessons and was actually terrified of the water, but quickly developed a love and passion for the sport and just being in the water in general.

TAPinto: What do you like most about your team?
Indiana: I love everything about my team. Greatest group of people you'll ever meet. I like how genuinely supportive everyone is of each other, and how when someone has a really good race, the whole team is super excited and happy for them.

TAPinto: Do you have any pre-meet rituals/superstitions?
Indiana: Eating!! I make sure to eat a huge breakfast and lunch early in the day so I have loads of energy for the meets at night. I also listen to the same songs at every meet.

TAPinto: Have you changed your training to reach the MOC level?
Indiana: I have changed my racing mindset more than my training. I realized how important it is to remain positive and relaxed during meets and to not let any external pressures affect me.

TAPinto: Have you met your Season Goal?
Indiana: I have met and gone beyond my season goals. I honestly didn't think MOC was going to be in my future, and I am so excited to be a part of such an amazing relay. We all definitely push each other to go faster.

TAPinto: What is your favorite class/professor/why?
Indiana: My favorite class is definitely Environmental Science because I am so passionate about the Earth and the environment and it's cool to be more aware of the impacts we have on the world.

TAPinto: Future plans? College and major?
Indiana: I'll be attending the University of Colorado at Boulder in the fall and double majoring in International Affairs and Communications.
