BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Since the Berkeley Heights Public Library closed its doors at the 290 Plainfield Ave. location on Dec. 4, staff members have been preparing its temporary home at 110 Roosevelt Ave., otherwise known as the Little Flower Church Rectory.

The temporary library is coming along and will open upon completion of minor renovations that include the moving of doorways, making bathrooms and parking ADA accessible and creating a circulation desk area.

The children's section along with other sections of the temporary space are set up, however, the staff can't complete the unpacking of books until the renovations are complete.

No date has been provided as to when the temporary library location will be open to the public.
