Pastrami House is a Jewish style eatery with a modern, bakery twist. Everything is always served fresh to order and the menu features plenty of from-scratch cooking with hours of preparation. "We are a one stop shop," said Gioni. "Serving things from breakfast to our well known pastrami, corned beef, and brisket sandwiches. We also offer freshly baked bread on the premise." Gioni is a young entrepreneur in pursuit of his dream. And frankly, he is personable and likable. His standards are high as he strives to successfully service the community of Berkeley Heights and surrounding communities. "My team always looks forward to serving those who walk into our store," said Gioni.

The newly opened Pastrami House in Berkeley Heights is one of four franchised locations in New Jersey -- with the others in Lincroft, Matawan -- and their newest deli in Hoboken. 

TAPinto: Why did you choose to get involved in this business?

Gioni: As a kid I grew up around Jewish style food. My best friend is Jewish and I was always invited to all the special holidays. This food holds a significant meaning to me. 

TAPinto: What sets you apart from your competition?

Gioni: Our culture that we have instilled within the walls of Pastrami House. All of the employees that work here always put 100 percent into every shift they work. We never cut corners whether it's in the front of the house or in the back, if it's not done right we do it again, until it's done to perfection. We owe it to ourselves to set our standards high but most importantly we owe it to our customers! We pride ourselves in our service and our quality of food!

TAPinto: What is most important for people to know about your business?

Gioni: We're always open to suggestion on things we can improve from our customers. Our customers come before anything, we always make sure that our customers leave completely satisfied.
