Taylor Rental is Honored as Suburban Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Winner

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Taylor Rental has been selected as the Business of the Year Award Winner for their years of service to the citizens of Berkeley Heights and surrounding community.

Alan and Marci Neuwirth opened Taylor Rental in Berkeley Heights in May 1969, one of the first Rental Centers in New Jersey. The former home of Berkeley Lanes bowling alley is still home to the Neuwirth family business .

Al and Marcia retired in 1988, but the business continues to be family owned and operated with each of their three children — Phil, Lori and Paul — having been the CEO at one point in long history of the Company.

Taylor offers a variety of do it yourself tool rentals  for homeowners and contractors.They have expanded in many different directions -- party rentals, a significant portion of the Taylor line features tent, table and chair rentals along with linens, china, flatware, caterware, concession equipment and more. 

Throughout its 46 year history, the Neuwirth family has been an active supporter and contributor to countless community groups and organizations. Alan was a charter member of the Berkeley Heights Rotary Club, as well as a founding member of the Berkeley Heights Business Association, which later merged with the Suburban Chamber of Commerce.

Taylor Rental will be honored at the Suburban Chamber Service Awards Dinner at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25 at the Grand Summit Hotel in Summit.  Click here to register for the event.
