From teddy bears to T-Rexes, elementary and pre-school children from Union, Essex and Morris Counties brought their favorite plush pals to Overlook Hospital's annual Teddy Bear Clinic on Monday and Tuesday, March 1 and 2. The clinic, organized by the Child Life Program at the Goryeb Children's Center at Overlook, allows children to learn about the different ways doctors and nurses care for hospital patients by bringing in their furry friends to get their temperature taken, weighed, bandaged and more by Overlook nurses. Schools from Berkeley Heights, Westfield, Fanwood, New Providence, Clark, Mountainside, Maplewood and Madison participated in the event.
