SUMMIT, NJ - The Teen Arts Festival, a free event offering teens the opportunity to showcase their artistic talents, is coming to the Hilltop City April 17-18 at Summit High School.

Sponsored by the middle and high school PTOs and PTAs of Summit, Berkeley Heights, Mountainside, and New Providence, the event will feature works ranging from photography to oil painting, vocal solos to brass bands, poetry to play excerpts, pottery to hand-made furniture, and computer graphics to music videos .

More than 1,400 entries are expected to be showcased at this year’s festival, which is open to the public. Each entry and/or performance has the option to be critiqued by professionals, and each student receives personalized feedback on their work. The Festival attracts hundreds of visitors each year who come to enjoy the talents of the amazing student artists.

Festival times are April 17, from 7 - 9:30 p.m., and April 18 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Summit High School is located at 125 Kent Place Boulevard.
