Ten Members of the Berkeley Heights Community win big during "Beauty& Wellness Weeks"

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Ten members of the Berkeley Heights community won gift boxes averaging $530 in value by participating in Berkeley Heights Beauty & Wellness Weeks. All of the participating businesses donated gifts, including product and service gift cards with values up to $250 for spa, beauty, and hair treatments and fitness services, Prada sunglasses, luxury gifts such as candles and lotions, and much more.

The winners are: Rosemary Dean, Angela Ciraco, Christa Doren, Frank Simone, Gerri Giordano, Joyce Seuhbetian, Sue Murray, Susan Chait, Susan Ruggerio, and Trish Compton.  Each has received their Beauty & Wellness Gifts!

To be eligible, each winner patronized four participating businesses during the Beauty & Wellness Weeks and collected a stamp on their Platinum BH Card, a loyalty card created for this event.

This is the first year for Berkeley Heights Beauty & Wellness Weeks, two weeks in May devoted to showcasing the high-quality service businesses that make Berkeley Heights their home. Local businesses, the Berkeley Heights Downtown Beautification Committee, and the Suburban Chamber of Commerce organized and operated the event.

Julie Lloyd, chair of the Downtown Beautification Committee, said, “We are so pleased with the positive reception from local businesses and residents, who took the theme,‘Be Your Best Self’ to heart, patronizing favorite businesses and visiting new ones for the first time. Events like these that bring our local businesses and our residents closer together, and both merchant and customer benefit from it.

These businesses participated in Beauty & Wellness Weeks and contributed to the gift boxes awarded to the winners: All About Eyewear, Anything Floral, Balish Medspa, Berkeley Barber Shop, Berkeley’s Cuts for Kids, Berkeley Heights YMCA, Body Restoration, Crestview Barber Shop, Dean’s Greens Garden, Nursery & Floral Center, DeFabio Chiropractic, Electric Beach Tanning Salon, European Wax Center, Feathers II, Fountain of Youth Spa, Gabriele Fitness, Hair Art, Hall’s Garden Center & Florist, J Michael Jewelers, Life Time Athletic, Massage Envy, MC Beauty Bar, Nail It Spa, Nikki Tans, Peak Medical, Premier Fitness, Smith Chiropractic, Sublime Salon & Day Spa, Suburban Optic, and Vanilla Moon Salon.
