To my family, friends and neighbors of Berkeley Heights:

I want to send a sincere Thank You for your support in the three (3) short weeks since I had announced my candidacy for the Berkeley Heights Board of Education, culminating with the election yesterday, November 08th.  When I set out on this endeavor, never did I think I would have so many heartfelt conversations with you and have you share some of your stories with me. I am humbled by the fact that I received no less than 567 “write-in” Votes.  The quality of our schools will always be important to me and I will continue to be engaged.  Congratulations to the three (3) candidates elected to the Board of Education, who appeared on the Election Ballot.  I look forward to seeing the members of the Board and the community to continue taking positive steps, for the benefit of our children.  Like you, I am genuinely concerned that we strive for excellence in everything that we do, in a fiscally responsible manner…and it all starts with engagement and listening, by working together.  I urge you to be engaged as well by being an active participant in the BHEF, PTO, schools and athletic/club activities when the opportunities arise.  And, I hope to see you at the next Board of Education meeting!

Thank You – Chris Rinaldi
