SUMMIT, NJ - The Connection’s Competitive Dance Team will present their Fifth Annual “Sneak Peek” performance March 4, with the dancers showcasing their talent and competition dances to family, friends and dance fans prior to begging their competition season.

The Connection Dance Team is a competitive group whose mission is to build well-rounded dancers and encourage team building in a safe, fun and competitive environment, and has been very successful at competitions due to their talented, hard-working members and teamwork. The team works hard through the fall, and performs and competes during the late winter and spring months.

The Connection Dance Team gives dancers ages 5 - 18 the opportunity to shine as they perform and experience the rewarding feeling of being part of a team. The group is made up of seven teams, all of which compete. Additionally, members have the opportunity to compete in Solos, Duets, and Trios, and to be a part of the Elite Team.

"This season has been absolutely wonderful so far - starting with the team performing during National Dance Day in July and at the Somerset Patriots game in September. What makes this year even more special is that it is the team's fifth season and our first season having an acro team," said Dance and Performing Arts Director, Jessica Fascenelli Weisenbach. "I am so very proud of this fantastic group of girls and cannot wait to see them shine as they kick off our fifth competition season."

The team will perform two shows; at 2 and 3:30 p.m, with tickets priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children. The show will be held at The Connection's gymnastics gym. To purchase tickets for the 'Sneak Peek' performance, call 908-273-4242 or stop by The Connection, located at 79 Maple Street in Summit.
