The Fanwood Performance Series Presents an Evening of Classical and Jazz Music on June 10

FANWOOD, NJ -- The Fanwood Performance Series Presents an Evening of Classical and Jazz Music on June 10 featuring the 
The Ivory Jazz Band, which performs a broad selection of swing, blues, and jazz standards. All three members are alumni from Scotch Plains Fanwood High School and participated in musical groups including the SPF Jazz ensemble and the nationally ranked Moonglowers. Nathan Graham (piano) attends Emerson College in Boston, Ryan Radice (bass) attends Monmouth University in West Long Branch, and Jake Brown (guitar) attends Rutgers. 


 Also performing will be Susan Graham and Carolle-Ann Mochernuk. Susan Graham graduated from the Peabody Conservatory of Music and the Mason Gross School of the Arts  Her teachers include Robert Willoughby, Timothy Day, and James Scott. She has been performing for the past 25 years, both as soloist, a member of the Monmouth Symphony, and the Orchestra of St. Peter’s by-the-sea, and as a founding member of the early music group, Ensemble Leonarda. She maintains an active private teaching studio and frequently gives master classes for high school students.

Carolle-Ann Mochernuk, a native of Canada, is a graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. She also studied at the Juilliard School with Rosina Lhevinne and George Kochevitsky. Carolle made her debut in New York at Town Hall, and has performed in Canada, the U.S. (Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall) and Europe.  In addition to frequent performances including the Lincoln Center Library, the Carnegie Recital Hall, and on WNYC, she has taught at Rutgers and Kean Universities.  She presently teaches at the French School of Music in Plainfield. Her solo CDs include "Russian Romantics" and several four-hand piano recordings with her husband Paul Kueter.
