The Berkeley Heights Public Library, 290 Plainfield Ave., will screen the French film "The Valet," on Thursday, April 15 at 7 p.m. as part of its Spring International Film Festival. Gad Elmaleh plays a valet at a Paris hotel who gets caught up in a plot to cover up a billionaire's infidelities. Director Francis Veber combines the elements of slapstick and quick-witted dialogue that can also be seen in his previous films, The Closet and The Dinner Game. This film is rated PG-13 and is in French with English subtitles.
