SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - Continuing with their accomplishments this season, Gov. Livingston seniors Kyle Brackman and James Ruggiero along with Junior Kenedi Facey all will advance to the NJSIAA Meet of Champions on Wednesday June 3. They finished among the top six in their respective NJSIAA Group 2 Championship events at South Plainfield High School on Friday and Saturday. 

Junior Kenedi Facey claimed the NJSIAA Group 2 Championship Title in Long Jump with a jump of 17-03.25. 

Senior Kyle Brackman placed fourth in the 3200 Meter Run with a time of 9:39.10.

Senior James Ruggiero placed fourth in Javelin Throw with a throw of 165-09.00, a personal record.

Below is a listing of GL's other top 10 finishers: 

Brandon Monroe finished 10th in High Jump with a mark of  6-00.00,
Nick Deluca finished 8th in Pole Vault with a mark of 12-06.00.

Michelle Almeida placed 10th in Discuss with a throw of  102-02.00.
Leah Saifi placed 10th in Pole Vault with a mark of 9-06.00.
 
The Meet of Champions will take place Wednesday, June 3 at South Plainfield High School's Jost Field at 3:30 p.m.
