BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Remember earlier this year when the topic of who wants a new tree in front of their home at a Township Council meeting? Well, it's decision time.
The Township wants to plant a tree in front of your home and, thanks to a grant from Union County, Berkeley Heights has money to purchase trees to plant along the right of way in the Township.
There is no charge to the homeowner to plant the tree. But the Township urges the homeowner to water the tree once a week if it does not rain.
