SPRINGFIELD, NJ - On Wednesday, June 28 at 5 p.m. at Temple Sha'arey Shalom, Springfield, NJ the Union County Interfaith Coordinating Council, religious and community leaders, and people of conscience will gather together to sing, pray, read sacred scripture, and reflect on the power of interfaith solidarity.

According to the organizers, "This event is in part a response to the increased islamophobic rhetoric following terrorist attacks in the United Kingdom. While such knee jerk responses have become commonplace in our public discourse, our gathering is in larger part a testimony to the profound relationships that people across different faiths share with one another. And, these relationships, simply by having them at all, promote a more peaceful community and a deeper trust for one another in the elusive hope of embracing one another as a beloved community."

All people are welcome to this solidarity event!
