SUMMIT, NJ - The Dominican Nuns of Summit's Centennial Campaign will be the beneficiary of a Valentine's Day Dance held February 11 at The Academy of Our Lady of Peace, from 7 - 11 p.m.

Launched in 2014, The Centennial Campaign represents a $4 million fundraising campaign which will fund the construction of a 5,500 square-foot new wing at The Monastery of Our Lady of the Rosary. To date, more than $3.3 million has been raised. The nuns hope of the nuns to break ground in 2017.

The renovation plans also include an expanded gift shop that will allow the nuns to more efficiently offer their handcrafted Seignadou Soaps, candles and a variety of woodwork and needlecraft gifts for sale, which will help towards their daily expenses. it will enable critical safety upgrades to be made to the 78-year-old building, and provide safe, handicapped access to the Chapel and Monastery.
