BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ -- Thanks to the generous donation of plants from  Deans Greens Garden, Nursery and Floral Center and the many volunteers that came by to lend a helping hand, Veterans Memorial Park is spruced up in time for Military Appreciation Month and Memorial Day.

The volunteers came out on a picturesque Saturday and got to work planting the large assortment of vincas and impatiens.

Chairman of the Veterans Memorial Park Committee, Ted Romankow, thanked Deans Greens and the volunteers and encourages the public to take a few minutes to pay their respects and to pause and remember those heroes who served past and present.
