Children of all ages are invited to meet the woodwind section of the orchestra as WindSnyc performs and demonstrates various woodwind instruments on Sunday, January 15 at 1:00 p.m. at the Berkeley Heights YMCA located at 550 Springfield Avenue in Berkeley Heights. Admittance for children is free. A donation of $5 is suggested for adults.

Meet the Orchestra is a four concert series that introduces children to each of the sections of the orchestra including the percussion, brass, strings, and woodwinds. The Meet the Orchestra series is sponsored in part by the Summit Area Public Foundation.

Judith G. Wharton Music Center, located at 60 Locust Avenue in Berkeley Heights, provides music, theater, and dance instruction, educational programs, and performances for children, teens, and adults. In addition to instruction in all instruments and voice, WMC offers classes in musical theater, dance, drama, choral music, vocal music, music theory, audio recording, early childhood music, and music for children with special needs.
