My name is Christopher Rinaldi. As a long-time member of the Republican Party, I am running in the Republican Primary on June 5th for Township Council and Republican Municipal Committee of Berkeley Heights.
As a follow-up to my Candidate Statements from the last two weeks, I would like to share with you a few areas of direct work experience garnered over the past 25 years that I believe will enable me to add additional value to the community (and governing body) as a member of the Township Council:
• Fiscal Responsibility – Successfully managed a business with annual revenues over $100 Million, returning value to shareholders and enabling employees to share in the success. Most recently I am engaged in a start-up; opening a new office, hiring a full staff, contracting for services like healthcare coverage, legal services, negotiating employee contracts/supply contracts, hiring/training a customer-oriented sales team, managing company liabilities and becoming sustainably profitable in less than one year.
• Continuous Improvement – Implemented a comprehensive step-by-step planning process that takes a systems approach to change towards continuous improvement. I successfully utilized this unique methodology across 6 plants, 8 branches, 2 distribution warehouses and 4 laboratories.
• Project Management – Successfully managed capital improvement projects at six manufacturing plants, within budget. Projects ranged up to multimillion capital expenditures.
• Leadership – Managed organizations of over 250 employees with as many as 10 direct reports and an industry low employee turnover rate with excellent employee morale. I believe that people are our most important asset while always being certain to listen to the voice of the customer (in this case…our Residents!).
I look forward to bringing my skills to work as team member for All of Berkeley Heights.
Additionally, I will share again that I was recently asked while going door-to-door, what are five words that frame a bit about you and your campaign? That was easy…Collaboration, Respect, Safety, Taxes and Transparency.
Please vote Column D in the Republican Primary on June 5th!
Thank You - Christopher Rinaldi
