My name is Christopher Rinaldi. As a long-time member of the Republican Party, I am running in the Republican Primary on June 5th for Township Council and Republican Municipal Committee of Berkeley Heights. On Election day, I (along with my running mates Mara and Maciejewski) can be found on the ballot, in Column D.
In addition to three (3) Candidate Statements that I have published over the last month, I would like to take a moment to remind you that the tenants of our Respect the Taxpayer Campaign are grounded in providing Fiscal Responsibility and Honest Leadership. What does this mean?
The Government needs to better respect the value of the Taxpayers’ dollar and that Government needs to respect the people, be of good character and high integrity.
Sadly, I recently became aware of a mailer selectively sent to a pocket of voters in Berkeley Heights that includes statements directed towards our Republican team. As a response to the disappointing statements included in that respective mailer and that many of us continue to see on Social Media from representatives of our local Government, I will quote Margaret Thatcher, who once said, “If they attack you personally, it means they have not a single political argument left.” I can ensure you that our Republican Ticket - Respect the Taxpayers (in Column D) has no Special Interests at play and that our campaign complies fully with the policies set forth by the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC).
As an aside, in my picture posted in this Candidate statement, I was running in the Berkeley Heights 5K. Over the past year (many of you know I am an avid runner…competing on a local, state and national level), I have literally run down/up/around every Avenue/Circle/Court/Drive/Place/Street/Way in Berkeley Heights…and did my best to avoid the potholes! When fortunate enough to be elected, I will continue to Run for you, all of you!
I look forward to bringing my skills to work as a team member for All of Berkeley Heights…in a manner that is focused on Collaboration, Respect, Safety, Taxes and Transparency.
Please vote for Change. Vote Column D in the Republican Primary on June 5th!
Thank You - Christopher Rinaldi
