My name is Robert Cianciulli and I am running for reelection as a candidate for the Berkeley Heights Board of Education on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd. Previously, I served on the School Board from 2017-2019. I am running for reelection this year to continue to move our school community forward. Some of my goals include: (i) working for common sense budgeting that balances the practical limitations of the taxpayer with the important long-term goals of our schools; (ii) continuing to advance the environment in the District for students with learning disabilities and, just as importantly, the environment for their parents; and (iii) greatly improving the relationship between the School Board and the teachers. I will publish additional detailed Candidate Statements on each of these issues in the coming weeks.
Professionally, I practice law at a Fortune 300 corporation headquartered here in New Jersey. This has given me valuable experience in drafting policies and procedures, chairing committees, and resolving a wide range of issues that arise at any given time. Prior to graduating from law school at the University of Notre Dame, I attended Boston College’s School of Management majoring in Economics and graduating with honors.
In my spare time, I volunteer for Habitat For Humanity and the Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter. I am also proud to have been a New Jersey foster parent for many years.
Please remember to vote for Robert Cianciulli on Election Day by mail-in ballot.
