With your generous donations, Silver Liming Foundation has been working diligently to spread kind gestures to community members.

In January, we organized a collection for a young mother battling cancer while raising her 7-month-old, JoJo.  With your help, mom and baby were showered with food, clothing, diapers, and formula.  In February, we held a collection for a friend in need of disposable adult underwear and wipes.  In a few short weeks, he received close to a year's supply of the very expensive, necessary products.

During the month of March, Silver Liming invited our community members to sponsor horse therapy for Jenny, our nine-year-old lucky charm.  Each thirty-minute lesson costs $130.00, but is essential in strengthening her core muscles so that one day she may walk on her own.

In April, Silver Liming members continued to support local families, with your help. Gift certificates were purchased from local restaurants and sent to children grieving the loss of a parent due to COVID-19. Meals continue to be delivered weekly to two families while the mothers battle cancer and receive chemotherapy.  Twenty-two hand-sewed face masks were donated to the Lyons VA hospital.  We were also honored to purchase flowers for Annie Young’s memorial garden at Hughes School.

A special thank you to The Max Challenge of New Providence and Union, as well as Linda's Creative Gifts, for your ongoing donations.

Silver Liming Foundation is committed to spreading kindness, one gesture at a time.
