Career Networking Group: The Secret to an Effective Marketing Message

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ --  Does your “elevator pitch” grab the listener’s attention, leaving them wanting to know more about you? Many job seekers, and even consultants and business owners, miss the boat with their marketing messages, trying hard to inform the listener and finding that no one cares.

Developing an effective marketing message is one of the most important things you can do to accelerate your job search. Career expert John Hadley will be at the Scotch Plains Public Library on Monday, June 12, at 6:30 p.m., to discuss how to develop an effective marketing message.

Career Search Counselor John Hadley will discuss exactly what to do to create a marketing message that people will remember. At the end of the workshop, attendees will understand the biggest mistakes even experienced professionals make when talking about what they do, how to articulate a memorable message clearly and succinctly, and how to leverage this knowledge to create consistent visibility.

Online Auction of Coolers Donated By McLain Ward Benefits Omega Horse Rescue

Coolers awarded to McLain Ward’s top horses over the years are being auctioned off online to benefit Omega Horse Rescue Fund.
