President-elect Joe Biden's inaugural committee will promote the national day of service on Martin Luther King Jr. Day as part of festivities ahead of the inauguration on January 20. The committee plans to work with organizations on the state, local and national level as well as service leaders and members of various communities to organize events.

We invite members of our New Providence and Chatham communities and our surrounding communities to join us in this Community Food Drive as part of the MLK National Day of Service. So many of our neighbors are facing food insecurity right now, many for the first time in their lives. This Food Drive will support local food banks who serve our neighbors in need.

There will be TWO drop off locations - one in New Providence and one in Chatham. Come and drop off your food items anytime between 11 AM - 1 PM on Monday, January 18th. Please follow all COVID precautions. Addresses of drop off locations will sent to all who sign up for event. Click here to sign up.
