The New Providence Scarecrow Stroll and Contest, sponsored by the New Providence Business Community, is back! Everyone is invited to stroll through downtown New Providence to visit all the scarecrows and choose their favorite.  Anyone can vote in a store or shop that has a scarecrow "VOTE HERE" sign in their window.  Voting continues through November 1 (one vote per person).  Ballot boxes will be collected and ballots counted November 1.

Scarecrows were hung on downtown lamp posts on Sunday, bringing a festive feel to the downtown. The scarecrows are colorful, whimsical, fun, and creative – come downtown to see them and vote for your favorite scarecrow.  Each scarecrow is numbered – just go into any participating location and fill out your voting ballot.   Participants have a chance to win prizes: $300 for 1st place, $200 for 2nd place, and $100 for 3rd.
