Fortnightly Club Scholarship Luncheon

The Fortnightly Club of Summit's Annual Scholarship Luncheon will be held at Canoe Brook Country Club on Thursday May 31st from 11:30am to 2:30pm. The luncheon is open to the public. Reservations are $60.

Guest speaker is Summit resident JB Schroeder, who juggles both motherhood and work, yet steadfastly pursues her passion -- crafting emotional, romantic suspense novels!

The luncheon benefits The Fortnightly Club Scholarship Fund to help send Summit High School girls to college.  Helping young women as they begin their adult lives is a significant way for The Fortnightly Club to truly give back to the community. Each year, college scholarships are awarded to deserving young women who meet the criteria that they are graduating seniors from Summit High School, planning to attend a four year college, and majoring in a professional, business or scientific field. The award is based on academic merit, community service and financial need.

Funds for this annual scholarship award is raised from the club’s annual luncheon. Held each spring at the Canoe Brook Country Club, the luncheon is attended by Fortnightly Club members, friends and the community at large. We hope you will join us to support our wonderful young women of Summit!

Kindly RSVP by May 17th.  Checks for $60/person to be made payable to "The Fortnightly Club" and mailed to The Fortnightly Club, 214 Springfield Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901.
