Vaping and your Kids: An Interactive Presentation Hosted by BHVRS

The Berkeley Heights Volunteer Rescue Squad (BHVRS) is pleased to welcome Melissa Tasse, PhD who will present an interactive lecture on ‘Vaping and Your Kids’. This event will take place on Tuesday, December 3, 7:30 p.m. at the Rescue Squad located at 378 Snyder Ave. in Berkeley Heights.

Dr. Tasse is Founder and CEO of The Honey Bee Foundation. She is a neuropharmacologist dedicated to educating parents about substance use disorders, the developing adolescent brain and its vulnerability to developing substance use disorder, and what parents can do to prevent or intervene early.

Vaping, or e-cigarette, use has skyrocketed among teens in recent years. Most types of e-cigarettes contain nicotine, the addictive drug found in traditional tobacco cigarettes. We have all seen, especially over the last few months, where other harmful chemicals in vaping products have been linked to lung disease and even death.  And no community is immune to this epidemic.

Please join us for this educational discussion. All are welcome!  RSVP is appreciated by calling BHVRS at 908-464-1141.
