Mary Jean’s pieces are in collections in the U.S., Germany, Italy, France and Australia. Her most recent international exhibition was in October 2019 at The Scuola Grande di San Teodoro in Venice, Italy. Art lovers from all over the world stopped in to admire and purchase her work. Three of her students in New Providence also went as they liked and admired her so much. Using the covers of vintage books as her canvas and the titles of the books as her inspiration, Mary Jean creates thought-provoking paintings around social issues that are clamoring for action such as recycling and climate change.
