BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Connell Company along with Embassy Suites and Grain and Cane Restaurant is once again "excited" to be the presenting sponsor of the annual Berkeley Heights Winter Walk, now in its fourth year.

Shane Connell, Executive Vice President of The Connell Company; Ian Brodsky and Rebecca Mittleman, of Embassy Suites recently presented a check for $10,000 to Winter Walk co-chairs Cheri Pertesis and Hilary Boothby (not pictured) of Anything Floral and Bobbie Peer, Owner/Publisher of TAPinto Berkeley Heights.

These funds support the planning of the all-inclusive holiday event which will take place on Saturday, December 1, immediately following the Berkeley Heights Recreation Department’s tree lighting ceremony at Peppertown Park. The Winter Walk is fully funded and hosted by the Berkeley Heights Business Community.

"We are excited to once again be part of the annual Winter Walk," said Connell. With the support received from Connell and the business community, and more visitors coming every year, the Winter Walk has become one of the most significant holiday events in the surrounding area.

This event draws thousands of residents from Berkeley Heights and neighboring communities to the Berkeley Heights downtown business district. "Our goal every year is to give back to the community by creating a festive, welcoming atmosphere in our downtown area," said Boothby.

If you are a Berkeley Heights business and would like to participate or learn more about sponsorship opportunities, please contact Cheri or Hilary at anythingfloralnj@gmail.com or Bobbie Peer at bpeer@tapinto.net.
