BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Shane Connell, Executive Vice President of The Connell Company, recently presented a check for $10,000 as presenting sponsor of the Berkeley Heights Winter Walk.

Connell presented the check [on behalf of The Connell Company, Embassy Suites by Hilton Berkeley Heights and Grain and Cane] to Cheri Pertesis, owner of Anything Floral and Berkeley Heights Winter Walk event co-chair, at The Connell Company's newly renovated headquarters.

This year, the Winter Walk will be held on Saturday, December 7 from 3 to 6 p.m. (rain or shine) with the Township's tree lighting and fireworks immediately following at 6 p.m. at Peppertown Park [across from Berkeley Heights Train Station on Plainfield and Sherman avenues].

The Winter Walk event is organized by the Berkeley Heights businesses to bring the community downtown to enjoy a festive atmosphere of entertainment, attractions, raffles, free gifts, dining and shopping.

Downtown Berkeley Heights will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland of fun with businesses set up handing out hot chocolate and treats while the downtown business district will be alive offering a variety of free entertainment and give aways.

Through generous business sponsorships, the Winter Walk will offer attractions, entertainment and food that includes a synthetic ice rink (skates available), two horse drawn carriages, trolley rides, life size snow globe, ice sculptures, entertainment trailer, Grain & Cane Bar & Table Food Truck, grab and go food with refreshments in parking lot of Delicious Heights..... and much more.  A map of participants, attractions and raffles will be available at the event, published on TAPinto Berkeley Heights, as well as on the mobile friendly Berkeley Heights Winter Walk website.
