BERKELEY HEIGHTS - For the fourth year, you are invited to nominate a home and business that you believe has the best display of holiday decorations in Berkeley Heights. Click here to nominate. Deadline is Wednesday, December 16th.
As you drive through the neighborhoods of Berkeley Heights you'll notice the twinkling lights of every color that brighten the darkness and signals the joy of the holiday season to come.
In some homes, classic white candles glow in each separate window like tiny beacons of warmth. Across town, sparkling scenes challenge the power grid as Santa and his reindeer dance across roofs and angels, stars and gingerbread people take up residence on the lawn. And the blow-ups are standing bigger than ever.
This year, downtown shines brighter with new market lights that line the sidewalks between the light posts thanks to the Berkeley Heights Downtown Beautification Committee and Winter Walk Committee and a generous donation by JCP&L. You will also notice that more businesses have joined the "Bright Nights" theme to decorate their storefronts with white lights, big red ribbons and holiday greens that helps to transform the downtown business district into a festive holiday scene.
The Battle of the Bulbs contest is sponsored by the following Berkeley Heights Business and Civic Community members: Smith Chiropractic, Taylor Rental Center, TAPinto Berkeley Heights, Liss Printing, Cruise Planner - Nish Verma, The Liberty Group, GRA Architecture, Anything Floral, Fit Forever, Delicious Heights, JAG One Physical Therapy, and Investors Bank.
