BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - TAPinto Berkeley Heights and Buy Local NJ checked in with our local businesses to spread some Holiday Cheer!  Check out the Berkeley Heights Holiday Video from participating businesses and hear what they love about Berkeley Heights and how long they have been in business. They also have some holiday offers for you. Remember to buy local this season.

Shop local this holiday season and support the locally owned and operated small businesses. Small businesses are the backbone of the local economy and provide character to our community.

We cannot ignore the smaller local businesses that live (and die) by the choices we make every day. These are literally our neighbors, our friends, even our relatives. Restaurants also need support to outlast the pandemic, the spring lock-down caused an increase in the number of local restaurants offering takeout and delivery, a trend that has thankfully continued through the fall.

"I do believe there is a high cost that people don't think about when they are just looking for the lowest price," said Chris Wang of Buy Local NJ. --- "These businesses that employ people in town, they have kids in school in town, and they are spending time and money in the community." Every $100 spent at local businesses means $68 stays within the community.  "You have to support your local businesses because those are the ones that make a tremendous impact in the long term," said Wang.

This holiday season, consider purchasing from a family owned small business establishment.

Shop, Dine and Support Local.
