BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ Today, The Berkeley Heights Republican Municipal Committee (RMC) is announcing the candidacy of Councilwoman Jeanne Kingsley and Jeff Varnerin for Berkeley Heights Township Council.

“This community has never been faced with a hurdle that we could not clear together,” said Councilwoman Kingsley. “Berkeley Heights will need strong and dedicated leadership for the months and years to come as we work together to manage the COVID-19 pandemic and the ensuing aftermath. Now is the time that we must come together, put politics aside and find creative solutions to deliver for our community. It is an honor to serve Berkeley Heights and I am running for re-election because I love this town and there is much work to be done.”

Councilwoman Kingsley has been a leader in Berkeley Heights for many years, serving as Council President and Council Vice President. She has a strong record of finding creative ways to improve the Township with minimal impact on the taxpayer. She has secured grants and public/private partnerships to improve the safety, utility and value of our downtown. With a background as a CPA and an expertise in finance and strategic planning, she is well positioned to help lead the town’s economic recovery efforts.
